This circuit starts at the Shosenkyo Entrance–Tenjimmori, passes Hakusan Viewpoint and Mount Shirasuna to Yasaburo-dake, the main peak of Mount Rakanji, then returns through Stone Gate and Senga Falls. Mount Rakanji is the collective name for the rocky peaks above Shosenkyo's right bank; 1,058 m Yasaburo-dake looks towards Mount Fuji, the Southern Alps, Mount Kayagatake, and the Okuchichibu mountains. The latter half through Stone Gate and Senga Falls showcases Shosenkyo's granite formations and gorge scenery.
