Wakkanai Komadori Ski Area trail map
Komadori sits inside Wakkanai, Japan's northernmost city, with views over the town from its slopes. A pair lift serves three runs from easy to advanced, plus a snow park with kickers and rails and a separate tubing and sledding area. Snowboarding is allowed everywhere, and night skiing runs from Monday to Saturday. Preschool children ride free. Lodges and parking at the bottom and mid-slope give two ways in, and the season usually runs from late December to mid-March.
