Ski Park Kanbiki Closed
Official name スキーパーク寒曳
Hiroshima
Closed in 2018
Ski Park Kanbiki was a small ski area on Mt. Kanbiki in the Oasa district of Kitahiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture. Close to the Oasa interchange of the Hamada Expressway and about an hour by car from Hiroshima city, it ran seven runs on natural snow served by a pair lift and a triple lift, with a hot spring facility next door. Falling visitor numbers, ageing equipment, rising upkeep and thinner snow led to its closure after the 2017-18 season, and the operating company went bankrupt in November 2018. The lifts and buildings were left standing on the hill.
