Memuro Ski Area is the town hill on Mt. Shin-Arashiyama (about 340 m) in Memuro, Tokachi, opened in 1971 as a municipal ski ground. It closed in 2023 when the third-sector company running the park stopped operating after its finances collapsed, then reopened under the town as a 'pre-opening' from the 2024-25 season. A pair chairlift serves two intermediate-to-advanced runs, an easy C course and a touring run, and there is a free beginner and sledding slope that needs no lift ticket. Snowmaking helps open part of the hill, and ski and snowboard rental is available.
