Kanmuri Kogen Ski Area was a small ski hill on the Kanmuri Plateau in the former village of Yoshiwa, now part of Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima. The plateau spreads below the south side of Mount Kanmuri, the second-highest peak in the prefecture, and is also known for its wild azaleas. Skiers rode a simple rope-tow style lift to mid-slope, and during the Showa-era ski boom up to about a thousand people a day came by car and bus, many of them families. Repeated snow shortages and other problems led it to close in 2001. The former slope is now the starting point of the Matsunoki trail up Mount Kanmuri.
