Mount Kikusuiyama (458.8 m) sits in the western Rokko Mountains on the border of Kita and Hyogo wards of Kobe, within Setonaikai National Park. Famous as the first major climb of the Rokko Zenzan Traverse, its steep slopes open out to wide views of Kobe city and harbor, and the summit hosts the first checkpoint of the KOBE Rokko Zenzan event. The name is said to refer to the chrysanthemum-and-water family crest of Kusunoki Masashige, and the peak is included in Furusato Hyogo 100 Mountains.
