Mt. Kamabuse

Mt. Kamabuse is a 582-meter peak in Yorii Town, Saitama Prefecture, at the northeastern edge of the Outer Chichibu range and within the Nagatoro-Tamayodo Prefectural Natural Park. The rocky summit is composed of serpentinite and hosts the inner shrine of Kamayama Jinja at its foot. The Yamatomizu spring on its slopes, one of Japan's 100 Famous Waters, is tied to a Yamato Takeru legend; the mountain is listed among Japan's 100 Low Mountains.
