Mt. Ittokubō

Mt. Ittokubō is a 541 m peak in the Izumi Mountains in the Takihata district of Kawachinagano City, Osaka Prefecture. The unusual name is said to come from a virtuous monk (ittoku-bō) who once trained on it. The narrow summit has a collapsed western face, so hikers usually press on 500 m south-east to the triangulation point (544.3 m) beside a transmission tower, where a 360-degree panorama opens to neighbouring Iwawaki-san and Amigasa-yama. Trails climb from the Nakahino bus stop or the Iwawaki-ji trailhead. Listed in the Osaka 50 Mountains.
