Mount Ōtsuji

大辻山

Mount Ōtsuji is a 1,361-metre peak straddling Kamiichi Town and Tateyama Town in Nakaniikawa District, Toyama Prefecture, set opposite the Tateyama Cable Car line as a forward summit of the Tateyama Range visible from the plains. The standard route runs from the Nagao Pass trailhead via Ganba-daira and Buna-daira to the summit, which commands a sweeping view of the Midagahara plateau, Shōmyō Falls, and the main Tateyama ridge. The peak is included on the Toyama Hyakuzan and Hokuriku 100 Mountains lists.
