Mount Nakatsu is a 1,446.8 m peak on the boundary between the former Ikeda and Nishi-Iya districts of Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture, set within Tsurugisan Quasi-National Park. Its sharply conical profile has earned it the nickname "Nakatsu Fuji," and the summit holds the small "Golden Pool," Nakatsu Shrine, and a statue of Kōbō Daishi. The standard route climbs from the Tanouchi trailhead on the Nishi-Iya side in about two hours. The peak features in Shikoku Hyakuzan and the Tokushima Prefecture Mountain Guide.
