Mt. Hinomaru

Hinomaru-yama is a 1,240 m peak straddling Miyoshi City and Higashi-Miyoshi Town in Tokushima Prefecture, on the Iya range within the Shikoku Mountains. The name is read as "Castle of the Sun Deity." There is no maintained hiking trail; climbers reach the summit's second-order triangulation point via the Hinomaru Forest Road and an old work road. The mountain is included in the Shikoku 100 Mountains list.
