Mount Kuro

Mount Kuro, also called Tokiwa-yama, is an 842.3 m peak on the border between Hanno City in Saitama and Okutama Town in western Tokyo. It sits on the long ridge that runs from Mount Bonori past Nasaka Pass to Mount Iwatakeishi, with a third-class triangulation point at the summit and views of Mount Otake through the trees to the south. The Kanto Fureai Trail (Sanso-no-Michi) crosses the summit, and the peak is selected for the Tama 100 and Tokyo 100 Famous Mountains, among other lists.
