Mount Hinoura is a 345.9-metre peak on the boundary between Kaita Town in Aki District and Aki Ward of Hiroshima City, rising just northeast of JR Kaita-shi Station. A beginner-friendly mountain with three established routes — A from Yakushi-Zenji, B, and D — the summit offers views over Kaita, the islands of Hiroshima Bay, and Miyajima. Kaita Town runs a monthly guided climb on the second Saturday of each month, and the peak features on the Hiroshima Hyakuzan list.
