Mount Awa-Takayama is a 365-metre hill on the border between Kimitsu and Kamogawa cities, on the southern Boso Hills of Chiba Prefecture. The summit offers views over the Kiyosumi and Mineoka ranges and across to the Pacific, and the peak is commonly climbed together with nearby Sangun-yama and Moto-Kiyosumi-yama. It appears in several Boso hiking guides including 'Mountains of Chiba (Bunken-tozan-guide)' and 'Boshu Low Peaks 100'.
