A 222 m peak forming the northern summit of the Kagamiyama range in Ryuo, Shiga Prefecture, whose top preserves the remains of Hoshigasaki Castle. Said to have been built by the Kagami clan in the late 15th century, it later served as a satellite fort of the Sasaki-Rokkaku clan's Kannonji Castle and retains stone walls in its main bailey. It is featured in the guide to 70 mountain castles of Omi.
