Hirakuramine is a 1,221-meter peak in Matsusaka City, Mie Prefecture, on the ridge extending east from Mt. Mimine (Miuneyama, 1,235 m), one of the Japan 300 Famous Mountains. Mt. Mimine straddles Mitsue Village in Nara and Matsusaka and Tsu in Mie and lies within Muro-Akame-Aoyama Quasi-National Park, known for winter rime ice and the Hatchodaira grassland, but Hirakuramine itself does not appear in any renowned mountain list.
