Mountain lodge at Tsurugisawa, facing Tsurugidake (2,999m) head-on. Founded in the Taisho era and long used as a base for climbing Tsurugidake. About 3 hours on foot from Murodo Terminal on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, crossing Betsuzan-norikoshi. The adjoining Tsurugisawa campground has water, toilets, a Toyama prefectural police mountain rescue post and a clinic. The lodge has a shower room and a lounge; sleeping is in bunk-shelf shared rooms only.
