Family-run hut just below Masagodake on the Tateyama ridge at 2,790m, the highest lodging in the Tateyama and Tsurugidake area. It stands a little off the traverse route in a quiet spot, with a 360-degree panorama that takes in sunrise and sunset, Tsurugidake and Mt. Fuji. From Murodo it is 3.5 to 4 hours on foot, either via Oyama or via Betsuzan. Accommodation is six small shared tatami rooms; there is no bath and no self-catering room.
