A staffed ridge hut immediately below the 2,677m summit of Chogatake in the Northern Alps. In snow-free conditions it is about 5.5 hours from the Mitsumata trailhead or six hours from Tokusawa, and is known for its face-on panorama of the Yari-Hotaka range and as a base on the Jonen ridge traverse. It offers shared rooms, curtained semi-private berths, tatami private rooms and tent space for about 30 pitches.
