大樽避難小屋

Unstaffed emergency shelter at 2,050m, at the fifth station where the steep Munatsuki-hatcho climb begins, north of Shogikashira-yama in the Central Alps, in Ina City, Nagano Prefecture. Ina City manages it; capacity is 10 and it is open all year. There is a portable-toilet booth, and users are asked to contribute 500 yen. Just below the summit of Shogikashira-yama stands the Nishikoma Sanso, open in summer (capacity 28, from the second Saturday of July to Sports Day on the second Monday of October, reservation only), and this shelter is the staging point below it. Ina City notes that people have broken windows to get into huts usable as winter shelters, and asks that any damage be reported to the hut or to the city's tourism division. The Central Alps here are a prefectural natural park, and the city warns of Asian black bears and asks climbers to file a climbing plan.
