広河原山荘

Lodging run by Minami-Alps City at Hirogawara, the climbing base in the northern Southern Alps, on the left bank of the Norokawa near its junction with the Okambasawa. It is the gateway to Kitadake and the Hoo Sanzan, reached directly by Yamanashi Kotsu buses from Kofu Station or Narada. The three-storey reinforced-concrete building was completed in October 2021 and reopened in June 2022. It sleeps 101 in shared rooms plus private rooms for two to five people; all stays are room-only with bedding, and dinner, breakfast and packed lunches cost extra. There is a dining room, a bathhouse, showers, a drying room and a cooking area, along with a campsite for 50 tents. Surrounded by woods with the Norokawa running past the door, it also welcomes ordinary sightseers in the fresh-green and autumn-colour seasons. Managed by Yamanashi Kotsu Co.
