This circuit leaves Soni Highland for Kameyama Pass, climbs Nihon-boso and Mount Kuroso, crosses to Nishiura Pass, and returns toward the plateau on the Tōkai Nature Trail before finishing over Kameyama. It links the pampas-grass slopes of Soni Highland and Kameyama with the forest and rockier ground leading to Mount Kuroso.
