This summit circuit climbs from the Sky Terrace car park on the gentler Western Trail to Mount Ibuki, then returns by the descent-only Eastern Trail. The western side offers alpine flowers and views toward Lake Biwa, while the route beyond the 1,377-metre summit descends through the narrower, rockier terrain of the eastern side.
