This long Diamond Trail traverse runs from Iwaya Pass through Mount Takeuchi, Mount Iwahashi, Mount Yamato-Katsuragi, Mizukoshi Pass and Mount Kongo to Kimitōge Station via Sugio Pass. It follows the Kongō-Katsuragi range ridge through the Katsuragi Plateau Campground, Chihaya Enchi, Fushimi Pass and Kuruno Pass. The route links the rolling, sustained ridge sections from Mount Iwahashi through Mount Yamato-Katsuragi and Mount Kongo in one day.
