Hidaka International Ski Area trail map
Hidaka International is a town-run ski area on the slopes of Mount Kitahidaka in the Hidaka range of Hokkaido. Four pair lifts serve ten runs over 500 m of vertical, and the signature route links the Tour and forest courses for an almost 3 km descent from the summit to the base. Advanced skiers get an ungroomed Panorama run and pitches up to 39 degrees, while a lit family course, night skiing and a sled hill suit beginners and children. The car park sits just metres from the lifts, an onsen is next door, and the neighbouring campsite becomes a cross-country trail in winter. It lies on Route 237, about 15 km from the Shimukappu interchange.

Train
- Shimukappu Station JR Sekisho Line (Limited Express Tokachi / Ozora) · Only all-reserved limited express trains stop at Shimukappu. From New Chitose Airport, board the Limited Express Tokachi for Obihiro at Minami-Chitose Station. No bus connects with Limited Express Tokachi No. 9 → Hidaka Town Bus [Shimukappu Line] from the station rotary to the terminus (Hidaka branch office), 25 min, 560 yen one way (no service on 1 January)

- Tomikawa Terminal "Tomikuru" → Hidaka Terminal Donan Bus · Change at Tomikawa Terminal "Tomikuru" from the Highway Pegasus from Sapporo Station (reservation required) or from local buses from Tomakomai Station. Some runs change at Biratori
