Bifuka Ski Area is a small town hill run by Bifuka's board of education in northern Hokkaido, loved by local children for its very low lift fares. It has an FIS-approved aerials site and hosts the national and Hokkaido aerials championships as well as junior alpine races. Night skiing runs on most weekday evenings, the town holds ski classes and badge tests here, and a cross-country trail opens in January. The season runs from late December to early March.
