Azo Park Ski Area is the only ski slope within Tottori city, set in Azo Park at the foot of Mount Takayama (1,056 m) in the city's southwest. It is a small family snow park: one 360 m slope served by two short lifts, plus a 60 m kids' slope for sledding. Snowboarding is not allowed, so the hill is used for skiing and sledding only, and a children's ski class is held in winter. With no snowmaking, it opens only on weekends and holidays from January to March when there is enough natural snow. It is about 35 minutes by car from central Tottori, and in summer the park offers tennis courts, wooden play equipment and year-round sled runs on the kids' slope.
