Mt. Juubouyama

Jubozan, also written 鷲峯山, is a 920-meter mountain in the Shikano district of Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture. Its symmetrical form, spreading on either side of the summit, is said to resemble an eagle spreading its wings to take flight, the source of its name. Trails climb from Shikano and from the Anzo Forest Park, and the summit lookout takes in the Sea of Japan and Lake Koyama. It is counted among the Chugoku 100, the 100 Mountains of the Chugoku Region, Japan's 1000 Mountains, and the prefectural guide "Mountains of Tottori."
