四方嶺

Noboribetsu, Hokkaido · Elevation 549 m

A 549.3 m peak on the southwestern rim of the Kuttara caldera in Noboribetsu City, Hokkaido. The summit carries a first-class triangulation point and Noboribetsu Bear Park, whose observation deck overlooks Lake Kuttara. It is one of the cones making up the JMA-monitored active volcano Kuttara. A ropeway opened in 1957 links Noboribetsu Onsen with the summit.
