Mt. Nokogiri (1,668 m) rises on the border between Kawanehon Town in Haibara District and Tenryū Ward of Hamamatsu City in Shizuoka Prefecture, and is included in the Mizukubo 100 Mountains list. The name (literally "saw mountain") reflects the serrated rocky ridge that links Mt. Sobatsubu and Mt. Fusako, and the summit looks across to Fusako, Bara-tani-no-Atama and Mt. Kurobōshi beyond. The usual approach is from the Yamainu-dan plateau via Mt. Sobatsubu, since the South Akaishi forest road is now closed.
