Mt. Nabeashi is a 529 m peak in the Satomi area of Hitachi-Ōta City, Ibaraki Prefecture, named for the three-pronged summit profile, which resembles the iron tripod (nabe-ashi) used as a cooking stand. From the top hikers look east across the Taga range, west to Mt. Nishikanasa and Mt. Nantai, and south-west to distant Mt. Tsukuba. Two trails climb the peak — the steep rocky Inonohana-tōge course for the fit, and the gentler Ōnaka trailhead course for beginners — and the half-day traverse from Ichirizuka Road Park (with parking and toilets) features in the city's official 'Tekuteku Walk' series. The mountain offers fine views with autumn colour and spring green, and is listed in the 'Mountains of Ibaraki' prefectural climbing guide.
