Mineoka-Umanose is a 306-meter mountain in the Mineoka range of Kamogawa, Chiba Prefecture; the peak at the western end of its "horse's back" ridge is called Dainichi-sama. Linked with peaks such as Mineoka-Atagoyama, the prefecture's highest, it is reached from the Mineoka forest road and overlooks the Nagasa Plain and the Boso watershed mountains. It is counted in the prefectural guide "Mountains of Chiba," the Boshu Low Famous Mountains and others.
