An 879-meter peak rising south-west of Unzen Onsen in Unzen City, Nagasaki Prefecture, within Unzen-Amakusa National Park. The summit is celebrated for its view across the main Unzen massif and out to Tachibana Bay and bears the nickname "Sunset Hill" for its evening vistas. The Gensei marsh at the trailhead supports wetland flora including Japanese rabbit-ear iris, renge-azalea and round-leaved sundew, and a maintained 45-minute one-way trail described by the Unzen Visitor Centre climbs from the hot-spring town past White-Cloud Pond to the summit. The peak is listed in the Bunken Tozan guide of Nagasaki mountains.
