Mt. Kasa

A 649.9-meter peak in Ōtake City on the southwestern edge of Hiroshima Prefecture, rising north of the city overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. Its weathered granite slabs offer summit views of Miyajima, Nōmijima and other islands across the inland sea, and it is most often climbed together with neighbouring Gyōja-yama on a ridge traverse of roughly 10 km. Trail signage is maintained by the Ōtake Alpine Club, and the peak is listed in Hiroshima Hyakuzan and Hiroshima-ken Hyakumeizan.
