Mt. Chojagatake is a 1,335.8 m peak in the northern Tenshi Mountains, straddling the boundary between Nanbu Town in Yamanashi Prefecture and Fujinomiya City in Shizuoka Prefecture — one of the principal summits on the ridge that rises directly west of Mt. Fuji. Its broad, sunlit summit offers a head-on view of Mt. Fuji with the Ōsawa Collapse and Lake Tanuki below, and the Tōkai Nature Trail traverses the crest. It is listed among the Yamanashi Hyakumeizan, with the Shizuoka flank lying within a Special Area of Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park; the loop from Tanuki-ko via Chojagatake and Tenshigatake is a popular route.
