Mt. Arahira is a roughly 395 m peak in Sawara Ward, Fukuoka City, a satellite summit of Mt. Aburayama overlooking the upper and middle Murō (Sawara) River. The summit holds the ruins of Anrakuhei Castle, a 16th-century mountain fortress held between 1553 and 1579 by Odabe Minbu-Daisuke Shigemichi, a vassal of the Ōtomo clan from Bungo; trenches, stonework, earth ramparts and a commemorative stele mark the site today. The peak is listed in the Fukuoka Mountain Guide and the Fukuoka Ultra-Low Mountains guide.
