Mount Toramaru

虎丸山

A 417-meter peak in Higashikagawa City, Kagawa Prefecture, the highest of the three Mizushi Sanzan together with Mount Hongu (346 m) and Mount Nachi (271 m). The trio of summits is modeled on the Kumano Sanzan and has long been venerated as the inner sanctuary of Mizushi Shrine at the foot. The summit commands sweeping views of Shodoshima and the Seto Inland Sea, and is reached by a maintained loop trail of about two hours. It is included in the Kagawa Prefecture Mountain Guide (Bunken Tozan Guide).
