Mount Minato is a 90 m isolated hill in the centre of Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture, also known as the Yonago Castle Ruins. The summit holds the remains of Yonago Castle - an early modern fortress once boasting a five-story keep and four-story turret and praised as the finest castle in the San'in region - and was designated a National Historic Site in 2006. Today the hill is Minatoyama Park, a popular gathering place with some 500 cherry trees.
