Mount Jinbagata

Mount Jinbagata is a 1,445.35-metre peak in Nakagawa Village, Kamiina District, Nagano Prefecture, rising in the northern Ina Mountains and regarded as a symbol of the village. The summit commands a panorama of the Southern, Central, and Northern Alps together with the long Ina valley running north to south. A 0.8-hectare campground known as 'the campground in the sky' and the renovated Jinbagata Sansō refuge stand just below the top, attracting more than 10,000 visitors a year. The peak is included on the Shinshū Furusato 120 Mountains list.
