Mount Ikurushibe

Its name comes from an Ainu stream name meaning “a route crossed by deer.” There is no hiking trail, and bamboo grass is dense. Approaches follow the ridge from Mount Iwatanushi to the north or ascend the Ponto River to the north-northeast, whose upper reaches contain a narrow gorge.
