Mount Gokahara is a 1,057.3 m peak on the boundary between Ōmura and Isahaya cities in Nagasaki Prefecture — the second-highest summit in the prefecture and part of the southern Tara range. A paved road reaches the top, where an observation deck commands a 360-degree panorama across Mount Unzen, Mount Aso, the Ariake, Ōmura, and Tachibana bays, and the Sefuri range in Saga; television relay antennas also share the summit. The peak features in Kyūshū Hyakumeizan and the Nagasaki Prefecture Mountain Guide.
