金泉寺山小屋

A staffed, year-round mountain hut beside Kinsenji Temple in the Tara Mountains on the Nagasaki–Saga border. It is about 20 minutes from the nearest Higashiya trailhead or around one hour from the Nakayama Campground trailhead. The hut is a base for Mount Tara, Kyogatake, and Gokaharadake, with wardens present on weekends and public holidays and a wood-fired hearth serving as a gathering place for hikers.
