Maedake

前岳

Maedake is a 982 m peak in Tara Town, Saga Prefecture, just east of Taradake (983 m), part of the Tara mountains. It lies within the Taradake Prefectural Natural Park and is walked on the Taradake traverse. It can be reached from Nakayama Campground via Kinzenji Temple and Zazen-iwa. Rocks stand beside the summit triangulation point.
