Mount Futatsu is a 1,647.3 m peak straddling Doi-chō in Shikokuchūō City and Besshi-yama in Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture, and the highest summit in the Hōō Range at the eastern end of the Ishizuchi Mountains. Its name ("twin peaks") refers to two opposing rock pinnacles known as Tai-no-atama on the east ridge, visible from the towns far below. A route ascends from the Nakanokawa trailhead past the Keiten Falls and over Gakura-goe before traversing the rocky ridge to the summit; in May–June Akebono azaleas and rhododendrons bloom on the cliffs. The mountain is included in the One Hundred Famous Mountains of Shikoku.
