Ishizuchi Ski Area trail map
Ishizuchi Ski Area sits partway up Mount Ishizuchi, the highest peak in Shikoku, in Saijo, Ehime, and is reached by ropeway from the valley. At around 1,300 metres the snow is good for the region, and on clear days you can see the summit and across the Seto Inland Sea. The gentle Picnic Garden slope near the ropeway station suits beginners and snow play, while the Joju A and B runs, reached by chairlift, are for intermediate and advanced skiers, with mogul lanes and sometimes ungroomed powder.

- Private parking (Izumiya, Kyoya Ryokan): standard cars from 500 yen per day / buses from 2,500 yen per day (Kyoya Ryokan)
Train
- Iyo-Saijo Station JR Yosan Line · Some runs do not operate on weekends and holidays (Setouchi Unyu Nishinokawa Line, as of 1 October 2026) → Setouchi Bus (Setouchi Unyu) Nishinokawa Line route bus to Ishizuchi Ropeway-mae, about 54 min (adults 1,020 yen, children 510 yen, 4 runs a day), then the Ishizuchi Ropeway up to the ski area
