Mount Bōgamine

Mount Bōgamine (446 m) sits on the Shizuoka–Aichi prefectural border between Kosai City and Toyohashi City, along the main spine of the Kosai Range at the southern end of the Yumihari mountains, just north of Honzaka Pass. The pass was a key crossing of the old Hime-kaidō, an alternative inland route to the Tōkaidō, while the wooded summit holds a quiet clearing with a second-class triangulation point. The peak is a featured summit on the Kosai Mountains Hiking Course maintained by Kosai City, and it appears in the Aichi 130 and the Mikawa-Enshū Super-Low Mountains lists.
