Mesanbe is a 950 m peak of Mount Sanbe in Oda, Shimane. It forms part of a volcano whose peaks, including the main peak Osanbe, surround the Muronouchi hollow within Daisen-Oki National Park. A trail beside the chairlift climbs from Higashi-no-hara parking in 60–70 minutes. A 4–6 hour circuit links Osanbe, Mesanbe, Taiheizan, Magosanbe and Kosanbe. The Osanbe–Mesanbe closure was lifted in 2020, but collapse and fall hazards remain.
