A large municipal mountain hut at 2,730 m, about 1 km southwest of the summit of Mt. Shirouma in the Northern Alps. It is roughly 6 hours 30 minutes from Sarukuraso via Hakubajiri and the Hakuba Daisekkei snow valley, and about 20 minutes below the summit. Dormitories, reservable private rooms and a large campsite make it a major base for the Shirouma peaks and the Ushiro-Tateyama traverse.
