Nanatsuishi-Koya Lodge
七ツ石小屋
1,591 m · Tabayama, Yamanashi · 0.4 km from the summit of Mount Nanatsuishi
Small room-only hut at 1,597m, partway up the Kamosawa route to Kumotoriyama in the Okutama mountains. It is open 365 days a year with a keeper always present, and Mount Fuji is in view. From Okutama Station on the JR Ome Line, Nishi-Tokyo buses run to Kamosawa or Tozura; drivers start from the Tabayama village car park. The hut has no mains electricity, water, delivery service or refuse collection: it runs on solar power, natural spring water, a bio-toilet and supplies carried up on foot. No meals are served — guests bring their own food, pot and stove. The hut sleeps 10 and the campsite 20, both by reservation made by 3pm the previous day. The piped spring water is free for any passing hiker, and a wood stove is lit in winter. It makes the least strenuous base for an out-and-back climb of Kumotoriyama from Kamosawa.
2026: open all year · reservation required · sleeps 10
