This out-and-back hike from the Tonomaru trailhead follows the gentle ridge northwest of Mount Tsurugi. Beyond the forest, the route opens onto a broad bamboo-grass ridge scattered with rocks, with views of Mount Tsurugi, Jirōgyū, and Mount Marusasa. Mount Tonomaru is one of the Shikoku 100 Famous Mountains.
